From the boys’ parties, we were able to deliver 173 items!!!!   WOW!!  You guys were SO generous!!

You donated: 30 boxes of mac & cheese, 12 boxes of pasta, 20 cans of fruit, 2 of veggies, 10 cans of tuna, 1 of chicken, 4 cans of chili, 6 cans of spaghettios, 1 box of hamburger helper, 1 of scalloped potatoes, 3 jars of pasta sauce, 28 cans of soup, 2 boxes of oatmeal, 14 boxes of cereal, 20 mini cereal boxes, 8 jars of peanut butter, 1 of jelly, 6 boxes of crackers, and 1 container and 3 jugs of juice mix!!!!

That’s incredible!!  Thank you SO very much for being so generous to our community’s youth in need!!

AND we have over $230 of donations to purchase more food!!  I asked which items are most in need, and mac & cheese and cereal are at the top of the list.  We will do the shopping and make the delivery at the end of the week!

What a success!!  But what’s been the icing on the cake is that dialogues have begun among our new community of fellow parent-friends and the kiddos about donating and community service!  I had no idea that some of Drew’s friends were generous with the Humane Society and others made visits and brought cheer to elderly individuals!  It has been awesome watching the boys talk with and learn from their friends about being caring and generous!  Secondary mission: check!
